Direct membrane immunofluorescence reaction of Burkitt's lymphoma cells in culture.

SUMMARY Direct membrane fluorescence has been successfully accom plished using fluorescein-labeled human gamma-globulins con taming antibodies reactive against antigen(s) on the membrane of Burkitt's lymphoma cells infected with EB virus. The mem brane staining is inhibited by unlabeled sera from patients with Burkitt's lymphoma but not by a number of control sera, including three isoantisera from multiply transfused individuals.
